From Dreams to Difference: A Purposeful Journey
I started out in the cosmetics world as a complete newcomer with big dreams - fueled by a passion for success, entrepreneurship, and an eagerness to learn everything about personal care.
My early experiences showed me how formulas were made, how ingredients worked, and how brands promoted their products. But it wasn’t long before I noticed a pattern: many companies seemed more interested in quick marketing wins than genuine innovation or quality. I saw labels bragging about aloe vera while using only 0.1%—far too little to have a real effect. In truth, formulations under 4% don’t offer meaningful benefits, yet such tactics continued in the name of cost-cutting.
By the time I had developed hundreds of products, I had grown restless with the superficiality. I wanted to create skincare and personal care items that actually improve people’s well-being, not just mask problems. My calling became clear: to make a real difference through products crafted with integrity, honest formulations, and a genuine respect for human health.
Why I Reject “Cosmetic” as Mere Adornment
The word “cosmetic” originates from the Greek term kosmein, meaning “to arrange or decorate something in an orderly or aesthetic manner.” Today, it’s often linked to adornment, covering up flaws, or enhancing appearances. I don’t agree with that. I don’t believe people should hide, mask, or overly adorn themselves to conform to someone else’s idea of beauty. Instead, I see personal care—or skincare as self-care—as a healthy ritual that promotes well-being and self-value. From the day we’re born, we care for ourselves and for those around us. Healthy skin is part of that—an outward reflection of our inside state. When your skin feels good, you feel confident enough to show the world who you truly are.
My aim, therefore, is to preserve integrity in everything I do. That means constantly learning and improving—if new facts emerge tomorrow, I’ll adapt my practices accordingly. It also means seeing beauty as a 360-degree concept tied to self-observation and self-worth. Only recently did I fully grasp how much our sense of value hinges on feeling good in our own skin. Moving forward, I’ve also decided to collaborate only with partners who share this level of authenticity. Otherwise, it just isn’t worth it.
Meier: A Name That’s a Promise
“Meier” is the one thing I’ve had since birth that never changed. The only thing we really own is a name and a promise. I carry my name not as a brand but as a promise—to stand behind the products and principles I advocate. Meier Innovation symbolizes a constant commitment to improvement. Our slogan, “THE DIFFERENCE THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE,” reflects my personal goal: to leave the world better than we found it, even if that grows more challenging every day. We intentionally limit our Private Label and Marketing Consulting services to a select group of clients who share our dedication to honest, impactful creation.
